The Chicago Caribbean Carnival Association (CCCA) is an organization formed to promote and enhance

Caribbean history through culture and education. 

  

CCCA's Executive Body is comprised of :

PresidentVice President, Treasurer, Financial Secretary, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and the Publicity Secretary.
In addition, two advisors and several subcomittees contribute their time to assist the executive body with organizational responsibilities. 
 All positions are voluntary and without financial compensation, except for reimbursement of reasonable and approved expenses.

WE INSPIRE TO fulfill our common desire for advancement and progress through organizational and individual cooperating and unity, based on a sense of common heritage and purpose.

  

PLEDGE TO marshal our resources for building a sound socio-economic and cultural base beneficial to all; to design and implement educational programs and activities that contribute towards our development; and  

PLEDGE TO cooperate with other private and public institutions and individuals to advance the interest of our community; to increase awareness and understanding of our history, culture, and contemporary issues.

Organization Goals & Projects

Our Mission Statement 

The Chicago Caribbean Carnical Association (CCCA)) is making a difference in the Chicagoland area by showcasing the Caribbean culture, from all the islands, to the citizens of Chicago and the Midwest.

The organization recognizes that a critical component necessary to uplifting human dignity is cultural and artistic expression. CCCA believes that exposure to the world’s cultures, including subcultures in our society, leads to tolerance and more appreciation of oneself and others.

Simply put, the mission of the Chicago Caribbean Carnival Association is building “bridges among cultures” that will foster mutual knowledge and understanding in our community, and fostering program towards the Caribbean Heritage.

Organizational Goals

To serve as an umberalla organization for all other existing Caribbean organization by enhancing the involvement and promotion of Caribbean culture through various ethic groups with the Chicagoland area

To ensure Caribbean culture and heritage is passed on to the off--springs of its members with the hope of providing a better life for everyone either of Caribbean or Non-Caribbean descent. Edit Text

  2. Educate carnival attendees of Caribbean Culture.

  3. Provide Caribbean individuals an opportunity to celebrate their heritage.
